We are grateful for the donations that we recieve for the foster children and the families in need that we work with. Everything that is donated is put to good use to meet basic needs and also help bring some much needed cheer.

Another such donation came from Methodist College. The staff and students at Methodist College adopted a family participating in the single parent program at FamilyCore. They earned money for the gifts by hosting bake sales, and were able to bless a family with toys, winter boots, books, socks and other wonderful items for Christmas. Through Methodist College, a nursing student and her sister’s family adopted a second family for Christmas and provided an abundance of gifts. Thank you to the staff and students at Methodist College for their kindness and generosity, bringing hope and encouragement to families in need!

Over the past 20 years some very good friends of FamilyCore have hosted an annual party to gather donations of money and toys. This year they collected four vans of toys. These go to the foster children, with the help of Karen and her annual temporary toy shop!

Other donations of toys and gift cards came from former board members, current board members, local businesses, foster parents, adoptive parents and may local families. We are grateful for each and every donation!!!
